By creating carefully tailored visual stories based on strong ideas and a talented sound design studio.
This is a campaign created as a brand incentive competition for retail sales people in electronic stores across the UK and Europe, with the aim of inspiring them to recommend Bose products over competitor products. Bose is a company founded on research and development, started by an MIT professor called Dr Bose, so we decided to put the retails sales people in the shoes of Bose sound engineer and allow them to discover new sounds in F1.
Each video was an opportunity to discover and analyse sounds in F1 through the lens of the driver, a view of the track and through the sound of the engine. Each video represented a feature of the Bose SoundTouch products:
1 Discover Hidden Sound : A concept film explaining the benefits of PhaseGuide technology in the Bose SoundTouch 300 Soundbar which gives you a surround sound experience from just one speaker
2 Discover Clearer Sound : An audio-visual film demonstrating the benefits of hearing a clear bass sound thanks to the QuietPort technology in the Bose SoundTouch speakers
3 Discover Synchronised Sound: A concept film showing the beauty of being able to orchestrate whatever music you want to play, at the same time and in different rooms, of your house which have a Bose speaker giving you a multi-room audio experience.
My involvement was from start to finish, pitching the idea, working with planners and designers and video editors, as well as a sound design studio to create the custom sounds and tracks that you hear in the videos as the original footage was without any audio at all!
