How do you use the biggest issue to your advantage?
Since the brand’s global launch a few years ago, everyone still has a hard time pronouncing the name, but we did not see that as a set back instead it was a winning opportunity to engage with an audience and take the brand’s hard-to-pronounce name to the next level. We created tongue-twisters, in english and arabic, using the name “Huawei”. Users were called to submit their audio or video entries reciting the tongue twisters and the most creative entry won a brand new Huawei Ascend P6. The campaign received over 10,000 unique entries, the highest number of video submissions for a brand competition in the entire MENA region.
